Bill Hall secured his name in the record books when he launched the first home run at the new Busch Stadium on Opening Day, April 10, 2006.
Hall connected off St. Louis Cardinals starter Mark Mulder, who coincidentally homered later in the same game.
Bill hand signed and numbered 250 Rawlings Busch Stadium Inaugural Season game baseballs to celebrate the opening of St. Louis' newest landmark.

Bronson Arroyo Wine Dinner at Mattison's Riverside in Bradenton

Chef Paul Mattison, executive chef and proprietor of Mattison’s™ has partnered with Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo to announce a very special wine-pairing evening featuring a five-course dinner at Mattison's Riverside on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 6:30pm. Each course will be paired with a fantastic varietal from Hill Family Estate; including their Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Origin and Cabernet offerings. Attendance is limited and reservations are required and can be made online at www.mattisons.com or by calling 941.748.8087. The price is $75 plus tax and gratuity.

Proceeds from the evening benefit Homes For Our Troops www.homesforourtroops.org, a national non-profit organization providing specially adapted homes for our severely injured service members.

2006 World Series Champion So Taguchi joined us for a private event just days after the St. Louis Cardinals clinched the 10th title in franchise history.

Most of the hundreds of items So autographed are already gone, but a few baseballs and plaques survived the rush by early collectors. As of July 10, 2008, less than a dozen baseballs remain, and only 5 plaques.
